I love travelling and have lived and worked in many countries around the world. After finishing school in Scotland, I went to Paraguay for 6 months, and taught in an English School. Later I went to India and worked with children suffering from Polio.

I have an Honours Degree in Geography from Edinburgh University and obtained my T.E.F.L. (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification at International House in Barcelona.

I came to Gandía in January 2001, and fell in love with the area, so much so that I decided to settle here. Speaking Spanish has been invaluable to me and I would like to help newcomers to the area overcome the language barrier and get the most out of living in Spain.

I feel that learning a language should be fun, interesting and, above all, of use.
