"Advantage was one of the best things happened to us in Spain! My two kids and I came to Gandia from USA to learn Spanish and the culture. Because I did not know much Spanish and anyone in Spain before, I realized very quickly that even the simplest daily tasks were big challenges – as the conversations passed me by in a single line of incomprehensible sound waves. "Starting my adventurous stay in the wonderful country of Spain, my ability to converse and understand Spanish was embarrassing. Comprehending such a complex language alone was very difficult given the previous education which I had received, which was 2 years of middle school Spanish. My vocabulary was empty and my pronunciation was completely American. Within the first month of my stay in Spain, I slowly picked up some vocabulary and speech skills but this was still not enough to fully grasp such an advanced language. I was later enrolled in Advantage Languages, which was possibly the best decision I made during my stay in Spain. My Spanish quickly progressed with the great teaching style of Advantage. I began to use what I had learned and I became a much better Spanish speaker. By the end of my stay, I had a very good grasp on the Spanish language.
